About Me
I am dedicated to linking artisan producers with farm shops and delis. My current focus is on personally delivering and presenting the highest quality products to geographically curated independent retailers.
I have an extensive background in business development and sales, latterly focusing on the thriving artisan sector of the food and drinks industry.
The carefully selected regional reach of ArtisanLink is curated by me, leveraging my personal knowledge of the independent retailers (and not relying on algorithms!).

The Service
Region Selection
ArtisanLink currently offers its sample presentation service in 8 thriving regions, abundant with a diverse array of farm shops and delis. Ed will assist you in identifying the best regions for your product, ensuring optimal exposure and engagement.
Return Data File After the Route
On completion of the route and presentations of samples to buyers, ArtisanLink will issue a comprehensive return data file outlining details of the farm shops seen. This report will include the name of each outlet, the relevant buyer’s contact information, and any feedback or comments made during the presentation.
In addition, the report will specify each farm shop’s preferred wholesalers and include further pertinent operational information, such as number of chillers, freezers and whether the business incorporates a butchery, deli counter, has a restaurant or garden centre.
This structured feedback helps producers to undertake informed and targeted follow-ups with buyers and engage in constructive commercial dialogue to identify potential new stockist opportunities.
Communication to the buyers before and after the route
As part of the service, ArtisanLink will notify each farm shop buyer in advance of the visit, confirming the name of the producer and what product is to be presented. After completing the route, ArtisanLink will send a follow-up email to buyers, encouraging them to share their feedback directly with the producer and to confirm whether they will be considering placing an initial order.
Follow Up with Buyers After Presentations
Once the data file has been shared with the producer, ArtisanLink will arrange a Teams meeting to discuss each opportunity and to discuss outcomes helping producers to construct ongoing marketing communications offering practical advice to help with obtaining new stockists.
Ongoing Marketing Support
Producers are encouraged to keep supplying marketing flyers which ArtisanLink will continue to include in future presentations to help retain exposure and remind buyers of the products presented.
